We got there kind of late (we had to make a Nathan's stop first). By the time we got there, the Donnas were already wrapping up and the crowd was MASSIVE. We finally found a seat and settled in just to learn that Pat was actually opening for Blondie, not the other way around, which was baffling!! Pat played an amazing show. Everyone, both women and men, were reduced to screaming middle school girls. A round gentleman in front of us broke out into Pat's signature two step when Love is a Battlefield came on. We all applauded his boldness and joined in. I'm ashamed to admit that when "We Belong" came on, I let out the highest pitched squeal at the first few notes. Thankfully my company was squealing too. After her set, we were totally burnt out, we couldn't imagine that kind of greatness being topped. So we packed up our blankets and marched to Ruby's. Blondie be damned. PAT BENATAR 4 EVA!
