Earlier this year British singer-songwriter Charli XCX canceled her European fall tour. Now via Twitter, the young performer announced that she plans to postpone her first headlining U.S. tour. According to her tweets, the decision to delay the tour came after emo-poppers Paramore asked her to open their UK tour dates this fall. Charli XCX’s U.S. shows are now slated to begin in October rather than September. Check out the artist’s apologetic tweets below as well as a video performance of “You Ha Ha Ha”.
Hey everyone… Ok so I’m really upset and sad to say that I have had to postpone my US tour for a month or so. — CHARLI XCX (@charli_xcx) August 21, 2013
The honest reason it’s been moved is bcoz I got offered 2 support paramore in the UK @ the end of September.. Which is super scary&exciting — CHARLI XCX (@charli_xcx) August 21, 2013
