Headlining a free show last night at Hudson River Park's Pier 84 was New Jersey's legendary punk band Titus Andronicus. The boys wrapped up the final night of River Rocks' summer series with support from low-fi rockers Ducktails. A sure highlight of the night was Titus covering a Ben Kweller tune.
The crowd was disappointed to hear that Titus member Liam Betson will be leaving the band for Canada, but delighted to catch his final appearence last night. For the rest of the country the band will be embarking on a large Midwest and Northwest heavy tour at the end of the month.
Fans braved the weather as rain clouds loomed above, threatening to ruin the night. But come hell or high water nothing would stop summer's last stand at Pier 84. Check out the full photo gallery here.
