For those of us who felt New York’s underground hip-hop scene had been stagnating, the Beast Coast Movement is a breath of fresh air. Traveling from various parts of Brooklyn, the Movement's key players were out in full force for Noisey's Rap Party event at Santos last night to put on an unforgettable show.
Danse Daimons of Bklyn Stickup led the charge with a wild set that had the audience crowd surfing by song two. Up next was twenty year old Brooklynite Dillon Cooper who hit the stage blazing with some tracks off his new mixtape Cozmik. Followed by CJ Fly of Pro Era. The Underachievers wrapped up the night with some help from special guests, Flatbush Zombies. Fans were doused in water and tossed around as they rapped along with “Herb Shuttles”, the standout single from The Underachievers newest mixtape
