Legendary MC KRS-One Played SOB’s (Photos)

SOB's was brimming with fans eager to catch a rare performance from legendary Bronx MC KRS-One (frequently called Teacha, and for good reason). As a pioneer of hip hop he's more than earned his stripes and last night we were reminded why his career has flourished for more than two decades as Teacha dropped some serious knowledge on the audience.

Hakim Green from Channel Live kicked off the night with an impressive freestyle followed by DJ Tony Touch who brought out Brooklyn rapper D-Story. Around 10:00 pm KRS-One took the stage reaching back in time to perform some of his classics. He then tested out some material from his new project "Never Forget" which was released this summer. The long breaks between live performances haven't made KRS-One rusty. He's still tearing it up, refined as ever, giving out "lyrical ass beatings" like candy.
