The Static Jacks are a fresh-faced indie garage quintet from New Jersey. This young band – all but one are 19 - has taken the better half of this year to explore their sound, bringing Andrew Maury (RAC/Live Sound Engineer for Ra Ra Riot) into the studio for his producing debut. The result is an album that fully represents the band’s vibrant live sound. Featuring stomp-clap beats, mesmerizing layers of guitar rhythm and deep sandpaper vocals, The Static Jacks cast off the computer-based trends of modern music makers to reveal raw, honest lyrics and a youthful energy.
